Diva's Life: Spending Time with Family, Thanks for the Feedback on the Survey, Preparing for 2018!

Hello Diva's and Gents!

It is the day before Christmas and I have been up, for whatever reason, since 5:30 a.m.  It's like that sometimes. I'v been pretty quiet here on the site and on social media. It's the holidays and my dad is in town. Things have been pretty busy for me as I close out the year. From getting my insurance handled for next year (It should not have been such a task!), dealing with heavy personal issues in regards to certain family members, getting acclimated to the most unique job I've had yet that will push me WAY out of my comfort zone, and just trying not to stress eat through it all, I've been BUSY! So I'm taking the time to get some much needed quiet time.

Oh, and thank you for the feedback on the survey thus far. I have taken note and in short, I have been charged with stepping up my game in 2018. I'm up for the challenge! The survey (above) is still saved to my bio on IG (@divachronicles) and you can comment, DM, it email me your response.

I have been proactive on the survey responses, one of which was to start makeup tutorials. I cannot lie and say I have not toyed with the idea. I've had a logo created for my channel and everything, but I've never dipped my toe in the YouTube pond. I filmed a (very raw) video of the above makeup look. It was mainly to serve as an tool to gauge what I need to work on and how and where I should record my videos. One immediate challenge: I wear glasses. Not the reading, weak prescription, sometimes I can go without wearing glasses type glasses, but the you need to wear these while you're awake and doing anything type glasses. So, instead of holding a mirror an inch from my face, it was my phone. So, I have to figure out how to film so you can still see me do the work and for me to be able to see as well. Hmmm...

That's it for now. I'll likely swing back through for a year end recap before the new year. Until then, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy (whatever you celebate this time of year). If you're not celebrating any specific holiday, I wish you happiness, peace, and health.

XO,
Joslyn
