It's the Monday  after getting back from a workcation spent down in Orlando, Florida for a few days. I, along with some new colleagues, were put up in the Hilton Orlando Resort.  We enjoyed comfy beds that you basically "melted in," as one of my new work buddies exclaimed. I managed to snap some pics in between seminars. Check them out below and what else the Hilton had to offer.

I gagged at the Peter Thomas Roth products in the bathroom. All of them came home with me!

The hotel was part conference space. There were small sitting areas with tables and two to six chairs nestled in corners and corridors all throughout the hotel.

The outdoor area was just as beautiful. Water features framed an outdoor space the hosted a reception while I was there. The grass is actually turf, and a bunch of us actually hung out here chatting over coffee in between sessions.

Ahh, the firepit! Well, firepits. The hotel was two of them. Florida's warm weather cooled down just enough to make the warmth of a bustling flame against a cool breeze the perfect way to unwind after a long day.

Overall Experience

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Orlando. The staff was friendly and practically waiting for you to ask questions. If you looked even the slightest bit confused, a member of the staff jumped in to help. There were several families and conferences staying at the hotel, but the sound hundreds of people talking, music, and glasses clinking never made it past the elevator. I appreciated this, especially since my mornings started early. I had access to every part of the building I wanted to go. I didn't feel "banned" as some places can make you feel. If you're travelling with family or with a company, I'll highly suggest the Hilton Orlando.
