Last Saturday my friend and I particpated in the Atlanta, GA chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America's Walk to End Lupus. There are many lupus walks all over the country, the one in Atlanta is the largest bringing crowds of 10, 000 or more. The purpose of the walk is lupus awareness, honor those wbo live with or have lost their lives to lupus, and most importantly raise money for lupus research and education. It was a sunny day with clear skies on the day of the walk. Check out the pics below. The video will be post the the Diva Chronicles Facebook page.
So far the Atlanta chapter has raised $506,574 with a goal of $560,000. There is still time to donate. You can donate at www.lupuswalkatlanta.com or www.lupuswalkatlanta.com/divasforlupus.
