Wore this polish to compliment a leopard print dress for my nephew's graduation. Perfect for summer.

Fashion vet, Tyra Banks posed for an electic spread for Black Magazine. All of the shots were fab, but my fave was this colorful photo. It puts an exclamation on summer.

Restaurant Review: Cuts Steakhouse

I love to eat, therefore I sharing all the places I've eaten with you. I ate at Cuts steakhouse in Atlanta, GA for a friend's birthday this month.  Get a feel for the vibe and food below.

What: Steakhouse
Where: 60 Andrew Young Intetnational Blvd NE
              Atlanta, GA 30303

I ordered the lamb burger topped with Vermont white cheddar with a side of cilantro garlic fries. It was delish. There are no fast food sized burgers here, I had to ask for a knife to cut it in half just so I could eat it properly. The service was great and the servers were very personable and brought our food out in a timely fashion.

The tasty looking flan for the birthday girl and her brother who was also celebrating his birthday.

While I did not indulge, I spotted a fully stocked wine cellar on display as you walked into the dining area.

My Final Thoughts:

I enjoyed my dinner in a calm atomosphere, especially for a Friday evening. We dined in a semi private space under dim lights. Cuts is a great spot for large parties or intimate dates. Snag a table in the corner for a meeting.

Service: Excellent
Would I Recommend to a Friend: Yes
Price:$$ Prepare to spend $20+ per person for entrees.

Diva's Guide to Blogging: 5 Tips to Dedicated Blogging

I've had this blog since 2009,  and I'm sure you didn't noticed.  Heck, I barely did because I rarely posted.  I started it as a creative escape from the biology coursework that was consuming my life in college. However,  I was so consumed, I didn't allow myself enough time to nurture my own little piece of the internet.  What have I learned?  Finding your voice is crucial as it reflects your content. To foster an audience, you'll have to be heavily invested as this blog will become your brand. While I'll still consider Diva Chronicles an infant,  the blog has definitely refined and attracted more readers since its early days. Here's how I'm growing my audience

1. Must Love Writing

I consider writing as one of my hobbies. I have notebooks all around the house for several purposes. I've kept a journal since I was a child, and I'm working on two drafts that may or may not become books in the future. If you can't put it on paper first, chances are you won't be motivated to type it either.

**Diva Random: I wrote this post in my notebook BEFORE it made it to the blog.
