The Latest In Beauty News: FDA Plans Public Cosmetic Regulation Meeting

Some great and crucial news for pre-existing comsetics companies and to those who are currently getting off the ground. HAPPI magazine has reported that the FDA is planning a public meeting on “International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR)—Preparation for ICCR-7 Meeting.”  The meeting is scheduled to take place on May 8, 2013 from 2 pm-4pm  at FDA in College Park, Maryland. The general public will have access to the proposed discussion on "various topics pertaining to the regulation of cosmetics."(HAPPI)

According to HAPPI,

"FDA contends it may use this input to help prepare for the ICCR-7 meeting that will be held in Japan on July 8-10, 2013. ICCR is a voluntary international group of cosmetics regulatory authorities from the United States, Japan, the European Union, and Canada."(HAPPI).

There seems to be a lot of useful info that will be discussed that will affect bot the consumer and manufacturer. If you're in the are or can clear your schedule to make the meeting, by all means do so!
