Diva's Life: First Time in Chattanooga
I recently went on a trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee on business and I managed to squeeze in some sight seeing. It was my first time visiting the city so I made it my mission to soak in as much as possible. Check out the pictures I snapped below. Warning, this is a picture heavy post. ENJOY!
Whenever I visit a new city, I always try to eat at restaurants native to that city. So while in Chattanooga, I ventured downtown to a local pizza spot called Community Pie where I indulged in two delicious meals that weren't pizza :).
Per the friendly waiter's suggestion, I tried the caprese toast (I tasted as good as it looks)....
and I tried a fresh kale salad for the first time. It was topped with cranberries, walnuts, and parmesan cheese. It was delish.
The next morning, ventured further into downtown and came across some artwork outside the art museum.
This is one third the local art museum. It has three parts, and The Mansion(above) is the oldest building.
This building was the modern part of the museum and the building you enter to see the exhibits. Due to time, I didn't a chance to go inside. It is definitely on my list for next time.
One of the many pictures took from the pedestrian bridge.
All someone had to do was tell me there were cool shops on the other end of the pedestrian bridge and I was there! This boutique is perfectly situated directly across the street from the end of the pedestrian bridge so it was a no brainer that I hopped across the street and took a peek. I found some cool things and a haul is to follow.
Hope you enjoyed the post. I love traveling so everytime I go somewhere new, I'll be sure to recapture everything here. Until next time....
