Diva Info: Inexpensive Travel Make-Up Brush Case

I found myself in Hobby Lobby this weekend, and I came across a paint brush case for only $1.99. The case reminded me of the cases from Sigma's "Make Me" collections. I thought this would be perfect for traveling.

Diva Hauls: New Black Radiance Lipstick Shades

Yes, the hauls keep rolling in, but this is the last one this week, I promise. One of my favorite go-to brands for lipstick is Black Radiance.  It has been around for years but it is not as popular as say, Revlon and Covergirl. As African American women as it's target audience and hiding in the shadows of Iman,  Covergirl's Queen Collection, and Black Opal, Black Radiance is the kid picked last in gym class for dodgeball. While not nearly as popular as its main stream cousin Wet N Wild (both by Markwins), Black Radiance's lip products are worth the try and will definitely make your wallet happy at $1.99 a tube. They boast excellent pigmentation,  are moisturizing, and have shades that flatter every skin tone.

Diva Hauls: Charming Charlie

So I'm in love with Charlie and I'm not afraid to admit it. I've been drawn to the accessories store Charming Charlie every since my best friend told me about it when I went home to visit.  The store offers quality accessories at affordable price. Every color of the rainbow is offered and everything is organized according to color. While home, I I partook in the "Buy One Get One Free" sale on all the clearance items. Check out what purchased below.

The Latest in Beauty News:Avon Projected to Disappear in 2013

Avon, the beauty brand that is more famously known amongst our mothers and grandmothers is expected to disappear this year. The company has been having troubles that date back a couple of years. Company changes to include the firing of it's vice chairman Charles Cramb and the stepping down of executive chairman Andrea Jung. In December of 2012, Avon pulled out from it's Korean and Vietnamese markets and made plans to layoff 1500 workers to remain afloat. I hate to see a beauty brand that has become a household name disappear. Read the rest of the article, posted by Cosmetics Design.

Daily Inspiration: Feel the Fear

"Your mind will quit a thousand times before your body will. Feel the fear and do it anyway!"

I found this quote on Pinterest.  It is so true. We psych ourselves out so often because our goals intimidate us. Do it anyway.  If you fail, remember there's always a lesson to be learned. You know what to do differently next time.

Diva Hauls: Leopard Print Pumps

I scored these babies at Target on sale for $15. I forgot what I originally went in there for, but I left with a pais if shoes. How many of you can testify to that? I already have a pair of leopard print pumps, but the print isn't on the heel and the color is more orange/brown rather than tan like the ones from Target.  That's reason enough for me to buy another pair.

The Latest in Beauty News: Iman Cosmetics Releases BB Cream

Look what I found at my local Walgreens?! They are many cosmetic companies both high, mid,  and low on the price totem pole that have jumped on the BB cream bandwagon within the past year. I've tried the Maybelline BB Cream and it left me less than impressed. Iman's BB Cream, however, has got me a little excited to try.

Diva Cover Stories: Beyonce

Beyonce set a firestorm on the net yesterday when her photos from her latest magazine cover for GQ's 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century leaked.  The photos garnered mixed reviews from "Sexy" to "She's a mother!" Of course the Rihanna comparisons followed. You may recall Rihanna posed naked on her cover with the exception of a jacket. Many claim Beyonce is trying to keep up with Rihanna, we may never actually know if that's true, but she looks hot regardless! Check out the rest of the photos below.

Diva Chronicles' s New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year!

I must say my 2012 was successful. I can fully relate to the above quote. This past year I started an internship eight months after I graduated from college. I had changed my career path my senior year of college and had absolutely no experience in my  new field. So I thought it logical and necessary to start from the bottom (again) and work my way up. Well did I! Three months later, I was hired which required me to rent my first apartment. Now that's what I call success. I will not become complacent in my position. I still have several goals, or resolutions, I've set for myself inside and outside my new career. Check them out below.
