On my natural hair journey I have discovered many products that are inexpensive that I have added to my beauty routine. This is because some of the products can be used on the hair, face, and body. They are natural and do not have all those man made chemicals that may not be good for you. Here they are in no particular order:
This is an awesome moisturizer for hair and I use it with castor oil to cleanse my face using the oil cleansing method. I have also read that it also works wonders as a body moisturizer, but I have yet to try it.
I use this in conjuction with olive oil as a moisturizer for my hair and it acts as a purging oil when used as a cleanser in the oil cleansing method
African Black Soap
I use this as my shampoo. I break it up into small pieces and let them dissolve in hot water stirring it every hour or so. This, obviously is a great soap leaving your skin feeling soft. Be mindful that PURE African black soap is actually dark brown in color not black. If it is black is has been artifically dyed to look black.
100% Aloe Vera Gel
Of course this is used to soothe sun burned skin, and relieve the skin from poisonous plants. However, I use it as a primer for my makeup. I do not use too much, just a dime sized amount and it works wonders for us oily girls. Now you WILL NOT stay matte all day. You will just look as if you have that "glow from within". It is the cheapest alternative to a face primer for oily skin I have come across to date.
All items shown are the actual brand I use exept for the African black soap which was just used for visual purposes.
